A liftgate fee is charged when a carrier uses hydraulic lift equipment to unload freight at a location without a loading dock. It's disputable when the delivery site has dock access, when the fee is billed but no liftgate was used, or when the BOL doesn't request one. We check the BOL and delivery notes against the invoice to prove it.
You need proof the delivery address is commercial, not residential — a business license, a zoning record, or the carrier's own address-type database showing an error. We pull that proof and file the dispute directly with the carrier on your behalf.
Reweigh fees are legal when a carrier re-verifies shipment weight and finds a discrepancy from the BOL. They're disputable when there's no reweigh ticket, the scale certification is missing, or the reweighed number doesn't match documented pallet weight.
