What does a freight audit check on an LTL invoice?
It checks each extra fee against the carrier's own rules and your paperwork. A liftgate fee needs a request. A residential fee needs a home delivery. A reweigh needs the carrier's weight record, and a reclass needs a class your weights and dimensions support.

How long do you have to dispute a freight bill?
Under 49 U.S.C. 13710, a shipper must contest a bill within 180 days of receiving it. That is why we review the last 90 days first: every finding is still inside the window.
